Jerome was traded to the Thunder on Monday as part of a package that brings Chris Paul to the Suns, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. After a fantastic college career at Virginia, Jerome didn't make much of an impact at the NBA level last season, but he has some upside as a smart, facilitating point guard. In 31 appearances for the Suns, Jerome averaged 3.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 33.6 percent from the field.
Jerome was recalled from the G League on Thursday, Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com reports. Following a one-game assignment to the G League, Jerome is back up with the parent club. He faced the Iowa Wolves in the G League, posting 23 points, nine assists and four steals. Across his past five NBA appearances, he's averaging 1.6 points in 6.6 minutes.
Jerome was sent to the G League on Wednesday. Jerome has only played two NBA minutes across the past four games. The organization will opt to get him some run in the G League.
Jerome (calf), who made his return and dished one assist in seven minutes Friday against the Rockets, is available for Saturday's matchup against the Nuggets, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports. Jerome was listed as out ahead of Friday's matchup, so his appearance was a surprise. He's held a solid rotation role at points this season, garnering 11.5 minutes per game in 19 contests.
Jerome (calf) will not play in Friday's game against the Rockets. No surprise here, as Jerome was considered doubtful heading into the evening. The absence will mark his fifth consecutive game missed. His next chance to return will come Saturday versus the Nuggets.
