Okoro will come off the bench for Friday's elimination playoff game against the Hawks, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. With Jarrett Allen (finger) returning, he'll step into the starting five, and Caris LeVert will move into the shooting guard spot. Friday marks just the seventh time Okoro has come off the bench this season. In those previous six appearances, he averaged 6.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 24.7 minutes.

Okoro racked up 20 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 11-13 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Monday's 120-111 overtime win over the Clippers. Okoro attempted a hefty 13 free throws and sunk 11 of them -- both marking season bests. He also recorded over five assists for the first time since mid-November. However, Monday's performance was just Okoro's fourth 20-point game across 52 appearances this season. He's averaging 8.9 points on 46.5 percent shooting.

Okoro ended Friday's 125-119 loss to the 76ers with 22 points (7-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 29 minutes. Okoro is firmly entrenched as a starter for the Cavaliers, and while he had been struggling recently, he bounced back admirably in this one. This was Okoro's first game with at least 20 points since mid-December, but he's not likely to deliver these figures on a regular basis. He's averaging just 8.8 points per game since the beginning of February.

Okoro provided six points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 127-122 loss to the Timberwolves. Okoro has graded as a negative offensive contributor throughout the season, but his lackluster production has become more damaging in the absence of key Cleveland creators. He's averaging 8.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 29.0 minutes per game across 45 appearances this season, with most of his value to the Cavaliers coming as a man-to-man defender and not showing up in the box score.

Okoro ended with two points (1-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 98-85 win over the Pacers. Okoro missed multiple layups early in the contest and failed to score until getting an easy bucket in the fourth quarter. Clunkers such as Sunday are a weekly occurrence for Okoro, and his 28.8 minutes per game could dip slightly once new acquisition Caris LeVert is acclimated to the scheme. The 21-year-old remains a developmental project with two-way upside.
