Ozigbo had a chance to emerge as the post-Leonard Fournette leader of the Jacksonville backfield, but a hamstring injury landed him on IR out of training camp and then James Robinson ended up taking the job and running with it. That was a tough break, but even if something were to happen to Robinson this season, Ozigbo is going to be behind Carlos Hyde and Travis Etienne in the pecking order, so he doesn't even have much appeal as a handcuff. Ozigbo can be ignored in all Fantasy drafts.
Ozigbo played only one offensive snap during Sunday's 28-14 loss to the Colts. Dare Ogunbowale dominated the backfield work with workhorse James Robinson (ankle) missing the finale two games of the season. Ozigbo ended the season with one carry for one yard and nine catches for 42 yards in eight games. The 24-year-old remains under contract for 2021, but there are hardly any roster guarantees for Jacksonville's backfield behind Robinson.
Ozigbo had one carry for one yard and caught his lone target for three yards during Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Bears. The 24-year-old played a season-high 11 offensive snaps Sunday, but it was a disappointing total given that workhorse James Robinson (ankle) was sidelined. Dare Ogunbowale stepped into the lead role and dominated the workload, totaling 78 yards on 17 touches while playing 71 percent of the offensive snaps. Even if Robinson is unable to play in Week 17, Ozigbo is likely to remain in the backup role behind Ogunbowale.
Ozigbo caught all four of his targets for 30 yards during Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Titans. Ozigbo's production is a bit misleading, as he played only six offensive snaps, and all four catches came on Jacksonville's final drive of the blowout loss. Dare Ogunbowale had one catch for 12 yards and operated as the backup to workhorse James Robinson for most of the contest.
Ozigbo didn't receive a touch during Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Browns. The 24-year-old played only two offensive snaps despite Dare Ogunbowale (hand) being inactive, with James Robinson continuing to dominate the backfield work. Ozigbo's contributions on special teams guarantee him some playing time, but he won't be factoring into the offensive gameplan without an injury to Robinson.
Ozigbo caught all three targets for five yards during Sunday's 27-3 loss to the Steelers. The three receptions ranked second on the team, but his involvement is a bit misleading as he played only four offensive snaps and all three catches came on the final drive of the blowout. Ozigbo missed the previous two games with the hamstring issue and should serve as the team's backup tailback. James Robinson once again dominated the backfield reps and was the only player to receive a carry during Sunday's contest.
