Red Sox pitcher Allen Webster surrendered two earned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three in 3 1/3 innings as the Red Sox defeated the Orioles Tuesday, 6-5.
Webster bounced back from an ugly debut with three one-hit innings in his last outing but dealt with control issues Tuesday. He has given up five earned runs in eight innings this spring while posting a 5:4 K:BB ratio. Webster is not currently scheduled to open the season in the Boston rotation.
