Andre Rienzo sent down after disastrous outing

White Sox pitcher Andre Rienzo was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte following Thursday's game against the Mariners to make room for Zach Putnam.

Rienzo had a disastrous outing in Seattle, allowing three runs -- two earned -- on three hits and one walk while over one-third of an inning. He owns a whopping 6.82 ERA over 64 2/3 innings of work.
