Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that third baseman Aramis Ramirez, who was out of the starting lineup Sunday due to a scheduled day of rest, is frustrated with his left knee injury, which has made driving the ball difficult.

"It's still there," Roenicke told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about the balky knee. "He's getting a little frustrated with it. Yesterday, I thought it was good he got a couple of hits. He's squaring up some more balls lately but the hitting part is getting [frustrating] for him. Hopefully, with today and a day off tomorrow, we can gain some ground and figure out how to get through these 20 straight games (prior to the all-star break)."

Ramirez has hit .274/.355/.425 with four home runs and 21 RBI in 146 at-bats.
