Carlos Ruiz out 3-4 weeks with hamstring injury

The Phillies made it official Tuesday by placing starting catcher Carlos Ruiz on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 2 strained right hamstring. The team announced Monday Ruiz is expected to be sidelined 3-4 weeks based on the size and location of the tear, according to MLB.com.
