Chris Narveson heading to Japan

Free-agent pitcher Chris Narveson has signed with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of the Central League in Japan, MLB.com reports.

Narveson made just two appearances with the Brewers in 2013, pitching two scoreless innings. He also made 15 starts with Triple-A Nashville, going 4-7 with a 5.14 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 59:24 K:BB ratio in 77 innings.
