Chris Perez surrenders run in save

Indians closer Chris Perez gave up one earned run on two hits in the ninth inning Saturday but picked up his 16th save in his team's 4-3 win.

It was the first run Perez allowed since July 11, ending a streak of eight consecutive scoreless appearances. He owns a 2.60 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 30:13 K:BB ratio in 34 2/3 innings.
