FOXSports.com reported that the Rangers are "getting calls" about center fielder Craig Gentry, but that the Yankees are not among the interested teams.
Gentry has been hot this spring, hitting .333/.455/.593 with two home runs and five stolen bases in 33 plate appearances. Despite the Rangers having another potential starter in Leonys Martin battling for the regular center fielder role, Gentry would be tough to deal, according to the report, due to his status as one of only two right-handed hitters among the team's outfielders.
