Marlins second baseman Derek Dietrich hit his third home run Saturday off White Sox starting pitcher Jake Peavy in the ninth inning, tying the game at 1-1. But the Marlins would go on to lose the game in the bottom of the ninth.
Dietrich, who was 1 for 4 in the game, has a .250 batting average with the Marlins. He should remain in the regular starting lineup until Donovan Solano, who is expected to resume baseball activities Monday, is ready to return.
