Dodgers claim Mike Baxter off waivers

The Dodgers claimed outfielder Mike Baxter off waivers from the Mets Thursday.

Baxter, 28, hit .189/.303/.250 with no home runs, four RBI and five stolen bases in 132 at-bats with the Mets this season. He also hit .289/.380/.519 with seven home runs, 22 RBI and four stolen bases in 187 at-bats with Triple-A Las Vegas.
