Giants SP Jake Peavy could return for Rockies series

When the Giants begin their three-game series against the Rockies on Friday, manager Bruce Bochy indicated there is a good possibility pitcher Jake Peavy will start sometime during the series, reports the San Jose Mercury News.

Peavy has been on the disabled list for the entire season because of a forearm injury. He has been on a rehab assignment at Triple-A.
