IMPORTANT: Wrong White Sox hat appears in 'Straight Outta Compton'

The hit Hollywood drive-in picture show "Straight Outta Compton"? It has a baseball hook of sorts, you know. The hook is that a White Sox hat appears in the opening scene. That's a hook, folks!

Anyhow, regarding the choice in headwear, there's this ... 

Mr. Sturm is mostly correct, as the logo you see above actually made its first appearance in 1990, not 1991. However, it most assuredly wasn't around in 1986. This was a mistake, yes, but forgiveness makes us a better people.
