Pirates pitcher Jeff Locke served up three home runs in a no-decision Thursday against the Braves, failing to finish the fifth inning. Locke was charged with four earned runs on six hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings while striking out three batters.
The ugly performance raised Locke's season ERA to 5.17. He looks like a clear candidate to lose his rotation spot once Pittsburgh's rehabbing starting pitchers rejoin the team. Locke's next start is scheduled for Tuesday in Philadelphia.
