Kyle Kendrick picks up first win

Phillies starting pitcher Kyle Kendrick earned his first win of the season in Wednesday's game against the Mets, allowing two earned runs (both on solo home runs) on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters in six innings.

Kendrick has a 5.40 ERA and 1.71 WHIP through two starts and will face the Reds in Cincinnati in his next start.
