A.J. Ramos continued to take the closer job with the Marlins and run with it Friday. He allowed a single to Chris Coghlan to start the ninth against the Cubs, but retired the next three batters in order to register his 13th save.
Ramos has not given up a run in his last nine appearances. He has yielded just two hits during that stretch.
