Free agent pitcher Aaron Harang has signed with the Braves, FOXSports.com reports and CBSSports.com baseball insider Jon Heyman confirms.
Harang was released by the Indians on Monday, and the Braves were reported to have interest once Harang hit the market. Atlanta chose not to open the season with Freddy Garcia in the rotation despite major injuries to two starting pitchers. Harang went 5-12 with a 5.40 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 113:40 K:BB ratio in 143 1/3 innings over 26 starts between the Mariners and Mets last season.
