Ryan Cook expected to return Saturday

Athletics pitcher Ryan Cook pitched an inning in a minor-league Monday and is on track to return to the team Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Cook "felt good, and that's what we're most concerned with," Melvin said with regards to the pitcher's Monday performance.

Cook has been dealing with a shoulder injury this spring. He posted a 2.54 ERA in 67 1/3 innings last year.
