It didn't take long for new Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino to make an impact. The veteran outfielder, who signed a three-year deal in the offseason, drove in three runs during an 8-2 opening day win against the Yankees.
Victorino struck out in his first at-bat, but he came back with a two-RBI single off CC Sabathia during a four-run second inning. He capped the scoring with an RBI single in the ninth inning. Victorino finished 2 for 6.
