For the fourth time, the Dodgers will give fans a Fernando Valenzuela bobblehead. The latest installment commemorates his 1990 no-hitter.

The Dodgers on Tuesday unveiled the Fernando Valenzuela bobblehead doll that they'll present to the first 50,000 fans to show up at Chavez Ravine on Aug. 21. This particular b'head, the fourth such rendering of Mr. Valenzuela, commemorates his June 29, 1990 no-hitter against the Cardinals (Oakland's Dave Steward also threw a no-no on that same day).
And here it is ...

While one can argue that the bobbling figurine is a bit too svelte relative to the genuine article, one cannot argue with the spectacles.
