Lakers center Chris Kaman was cleared to play prior to Tuesday's game against the Wizards, so his lingering back injury is not the reason he has not played in the last two games. As he told ESPN.com Wednesday, he has overcome the injury.
"I was actually good last game, I just couldn't get in there, I guess," Kaman said. "I don't know. I'm ready to go."
Kaman appears to have fallen out of the rotation behind Jordan Hill and Pau Gasol. Kaman has not played more than 20 minutes in a game since Nov. 12, and has only played in one of the last five games.
Kaman is available off the bench Friday against the Pistons, but it is not clear if he will play at this point.
