USA Today reports that former Cav Mark Price may get a second interview with the Cavaliers this week for their coaching position.
As Cavs' coaching search continues, I'm told they're strongly considering giving Charlotte assistant Mark Price a second interview this week

Price spent nine years with the Cavaliers and is known as a shooting expert. He spent last season as an assistant with the Charlotte Bobcats. The Cavaliers have been interviewing candidates for nearly a month after firing Mike Brown after one season. The candidates have ranged from Israeli coach David Blatt to longtime Doc Rivers assistant Tyron Lue to college coaches. The Cavaliers reportedly offered John Calipari an insane deal to try and lure him from Kentucky.
Price would be a smart hire for the Cavs. Someone with organizational ties, assistant coaching experience and a history of developing players. He's worked to recondition several players' jumpshots. He hasn't had as much experience as an outright assistant but then, not having any experience whatsoever is the new trend in the NBA. Price wouldn't be the sexiest hire they could make but he might be the best option.
