The Timberwolves are dangling small forward Chase Budinger in trade talks, league sources have told Yahoo Sports. Among their possible trade partners are Detroit and Houston.
The report claims, however, that the Rockets are reluctant to assume the $5 million player option Budinger has for next season. The Pistons appear to be a more realistic possibility.
Budinger averaged 6.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 41 games last season.
