Budinger was waived by the Nets on Tuesday, Marc Spears of ESPN reports.
Budinger signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Nets last month, but the team has decided to part ways with the former Arizona standout as it trims its roster before the start of the regular season. The 28-year-old Budinger will look to latch on with another team but may be forced to explore his options overseas or in the D-League.
