  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Headed overseas

Cavanaugh signed a contract with ALBA Berlin in Germany, Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reports.

Cavanaugh spent the 2018-2019 season with the Jazz, where he struggled to contribute. He averaged 0.8 points in 11 contests. He'll aim to make a larger impact overseas.

  • Knicks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Joining Knicks for summer league

Cavanaugh intends to suit up for the Knicks during the Las Vegas Summer League, Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News reports.

Cavanaugh spent the entire 2018-19 campaign with the Jazz playing on a one-year, two-way contract. He appeared in just 11 games at the NBA level, averaging 0.8 points in 3.5 minutes while shooting 30 percent from the field. With Utah apparently not interested in extending him a qualifying offer for 2019-20, Cavanaugh will become a free agent July 1 and will presumably look to attract notice in Las Vegas before potentially signing overseas or with an NBA team.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Records double-double

Cavanaugh collected 21 points (9-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt), 13 rebounds and one steal in the 118-113 loss Tuesday in the opening round of the G League playoffs.

The two two-way players, Cavanaugh and Grayson Allen, were effectively Salt Lake City's only offense as the duo combined for 58 points on 20-of-32 from the field. The loss means Cavanaugh's abbreviated stint in the G League will conclude, as the Stars have been bounced from the G League playoffs.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Gets 20 points in 24 minutes

Cavanaugh collected 20 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and four assists in the 141-114 win Friday over the Skyforce.

Almost the entire starting unit for Salt Lake City scored at least 20 points, including Cavanaugh, which allowed for the two-way player to register just over 24 minutes of court time. In 38 games with the G League roster, Cavanaugh is averaging 17.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 turnovers.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Polishes off another 30-point performance

Cavanaugh registered 31 points (12=14 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds and four assists in the 112-107 win over Lakeland.

The near perfect performance from the field is yet another indication of Cavanaugh's impressive offensive abilities. While he's managed to score more lately, he still is only averaging just under 17 points per game, which is only good for the 37th best figure in the G League at the moment. The power forward figures to make his return to Utah at some point, but he's a consistent source of production so long as he's with Salt Lake.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Sterling performance in win

Cavanaugh destroyed Stockton on Wednesday, finishing the win with 31 points (10-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal.

The two-way player hasn't made much of an impact with the Jazz, but he certainly did a number Wednesday, combining with the other two-way player - Naz Mitrou-Long - to score nearly half of the team's total points. Cavanaugh is averaging 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 turnovers in 28 games with Salt Lake City.

  • Jazz's Tyler Cavanaugh: Fails to play Wednesday

Cavanaugh (coach's decision) didn't see the floor Wednesday in the Jazz's 114-108 win over the Nuggets.

The Jazz had both of their two-way players (Cavanaugh and Naz Mitrou-Long) suit up with four others on the 15-man roster sidelined with injuries. The absences weren't enough to open up playing time for Cavanaugh, however, as coach Quin Snyder ran an 11-man rotation in the narrow win. Cavanaugh has seen action in four games with the Jazz earlier this month but has never played more than three minutes.

  • Jazz's Tyler Cavanaugh: Records double-double with 35 points

Cavanaugh tallied 35 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Tuesday's game against the Legends.

Cavanaugh is currently playing on a two-way contract with the Jazz and will likely be called up intermittently throughout the season, especially if he continues to have outings like Tuesday's. For now, the former George Washington standout seems to be a stronghold in the Stars' starting lineup.

  • Jazz's Tyler Cavanaugh: Inks two-way deal with Utah

Cavanaugh agreed to a two-way contract with the Jazz on Wednesday.

Cavanaugh appeared in 39 games with the Hawks last season, shooting 36.0 percent from three and averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds across 13.3 minutes. The George Washington product also spent 11 games in the G-League, where he averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in 23.6 minutes. In joining the Jazz on a two-way deal, he'll spend most of the 2018-19 campaign with the organization's G-League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars. Cavanaugh, per the nature of two-way deals, can spend up to 45 days at the NBA level as well.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: Let go by Atlanta

Cavanaugh was waived by the Hawks on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

As part of his guaranteed contract, Cavanaugh was due $450,000 on Tuesday, so the Hawks will let him go to avoid that cost. As a result, Cavanaugh will be an unrestricted free agent in need of a new NBA home. The rookie out of George Washington ended up having a sizable role with a rebuilding Atlanta team last season, appearing in 39 games and averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds. His career-high came in November against the Pelicans, when he shot 6-of-7 from the field en route to scoring 16 points.

  • Hawks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Appears in 39 games

Cavanaugh appeared in 39 games for the Hawks in 2017-18 and averaged 4.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists.

Cavanaugh spent a majority of the season in the G League but was somewhat productive off the bench for the Hawks this year. His highest scoring game came on Nov. 13 at New Orleans in which he erupted for 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting. It's likely, given his time in the NBA this year, that Cavanaugh should be able to land a two way contract with an NBA squad this off-season.

  • Hawks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Headed to G-League

Cavanaugh was assigned to the G-League on Monday, Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Cavanaugh and a handful of other Hawks are heading back down to aid the BayHawks in their playoff run. Following Tuesday's contest, he should be recalled to the big club, though he's been a DNP-CD in each of the last two games for Atlanta.

  • Hawks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Recalled from G League

The Hawks recalled Cavanaugh from the G League's Erie BayHawks on Sunday, KL Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Cavanaugh should thus be available off the bench for Sunday's game against the Magic after missing Atlanta's most recent contest Friday versus the 76ers. Over his last eight appearances with the Hawks, Cavanaugh is averaging 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game, numbers that don't make him a particularly interesting fantasy commodity.

Cavanaugh was assigned to the G-League on Thursday, Michael Cunnningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Both Cavanaugh and Josh Magette will head back down to aid the Bayhawks in their G-League playoff run. Cavanaugh had actually seen some court time in the last eight games for the Hawks, but was averaging just 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds across 12.1 minutes. Even when he's recalled, Cavanaugh can be avoided for fantasy purposes.

  • Hawks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Will play Tuesday vs. Thunder

Cavanaugh (ankle) will play in Tuesday's game against the Thunder, KL Chouinard of ATLand29.com reports.

Cavanaugh, who's fresh off a G-League rehab stint, will be making his return to action with the Hawks after missing the last two months of action with an ankle injury. While he's averaged just 13.8 minutes so far this season, the Hawks are slated to be without the likes of DeAndre' Bembry (abdomen), Malcolm Delaney (ankle), Antonius Cleveland (ankle), Jaylen Morris (ankle) and Kent Bazemore (knee), which could allow Cavanaugh some extra playing time right away despite being fresh off an injury.

  • Hawks' Tyler Cavanaugh: Listed as probable for Tuesday

Cavanaugh (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Thunder.

Cavanaugh missed nearly two months with an ankle injury, but was able to participate in handful of games in the G-League on a rehab stint and should be available to play Tuesday. With the Hawks dealing with a slew of injuries, Cavanaugh could see a larger workload than the 13.8 minutes he was averaging earlier this season. That will likely depend on how the ankle responds, though, so Cavanaugh will still likely be someone to avoid for fantasy purposes.

  • Tyler Cavanaugh: 19 and 11 in win

Cavanaugh registered 19 points (7-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two blocks and one assist during Sunday's 112-108 road win over the Canton Charge.

Cavanaugh has only played 11 games in the G Leauge this season due to many opportunities in the NBA. Whenever plays for the BayHawks though, he produces effective numbers, similar to Sunday's double-double outing. The 24-year-old from George Washington is averaging 14.5 points and 7.3 rebounds with Erie this year.
