  • Celtics' Jarell Eddie: Joins Celtics for summer league

Eddie will play with the Celtics' summer league team, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.

Eddie was primarily featured in the G-League last season but did sign a 10-day contract with the Celtics in January and then with the Bulls in February. He's likely destined for another G-League heavy season, but he will use the summer to potentially land a two-way contract with a team.

Eddie mustered 14 points (5-16 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two steals and two blocks during Friday's 105-99 taming of the Greensboro Swarm.

Eddie returned from his very short stint with the Chicago Bulls and was able to manage 14 points on 31.3 percent shooting. The former Virginia Tech forward is currently averaging 17.0 points and 4.7 rebounds with Windy City through 22 games played this season.

  • Bulls' Jarell Eddie: Assigned to G-League

Eddie was assigned to the G-League's Windy City Bulls on Thursday.

Eddie was recalled from Windy City on Monday while on a 10-day contract with the team, and he'll head back there Thursday with just a couple days left on that deal. The Bulls may elect to bring him back for Friday's game in Detroit, but if they don't, chances are Eddie's time in Chicago will be coming to an end.

  • Bulls' Jarell Eddie: Returns from G League

The Bulls recalled Eddie from the G League's Windy City Bulls on Monday.

Eddie, who is in the midst of a 10-day contract with the Bulls, has yet to make his team debut, but could get that opportunity Monday against the Celtics. Though he's spent most of the 2017-18 campaign in the G League, Eddie does have two NBA appearances on his ledger this season, both of which came with Boston back in January.

  • Bulls' Jarell Eddie: Assigned to G-League

Eddie was assigned to the G-League's Windy City Bulls on Friday.

Eddie signed a 10-day contract with Chicago at the end of February, though will seemingly continue to spend some time in the G-League for the time being. With Windy City, he's averaging 16.7 points and 4.6 rebounds while drilling 3.6 threes per game at a 46.6 percent mark.

  • Bulls' Jarell Eddie: Will sign 10-day contract with Bulls

Eddie is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Bulls, Chris Haynes of ESPN reports.

Eddie has been dominating in the G-League this season, playing in 19 games with Windy City and averaging 16.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals. The 26-year-old wing will now provide some temporary depth on the wing for the Bulls, especially with Paul Zipser currently dealing with a foot injury. However, it's unlikely he takes on a significant role right away and he shouldn't be someone to seriously consider for fantasy purposes unless a few more injuries were to occur.

  • Jarell Eddie: Erupts for season high

Eddie managed 31 points (11-17 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four steals and one assist during Wednesday's 118-112 win over the vising 87ers.

The fourth year player out of Virginia Tech produced a new season high, reaching the 30-point mark for just the second time this season. Aside from missing a chunk of the season in late November through December, Eddie has been a reliable scorer for Windy City, as he has scored in the teens and above consistently. The 26-year-old is averaging a superb 16.9 points per game this season.

Eddie will not ink a second 10-day contract with the Celtics, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.

Eddie appeared in just two games for Boston, playing a total of six minutes. It seems likely he'll head back to the G-League, where he was prior to the 10-day. There, with the Windy City Bulls, he was averaging 17.2 points and 4.1 rebounds across 32.2 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Jarell Eddie: Signs 10-day deal with Boston

Eddie and the Celtics have agreed on a 10-day contract.

The wing from Virginia Tech has spent the season in the G-League with the Windy City Bulls, averaging 17.2 points and 4.1 rebounds across 32.2 minutes per game. He played only five NBA games last season with Phoenix, averaging 4.8 points across 12.4 minutes per game. In 2015-16, his rookie campaign, he played 26 games with Washington, posting 2.4 points across 5.7 minutes per contest.

  • Jarell Eddie: Waived by Chicago

The Bulls waived Eddie on Monday, Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders reports.

Eddie and center Diamond Stone were the Bulls' final cuts following the conclusion of preseason play, with the team claiming point guard Kay Felder off waivers from the Hawks to complete its 17-man roster. The 26-year-old Eddie appeared in five games with the Suns a season ago, averaging 4.8 points in 12.4 minutes per contest.

  • Suns' Jarell Eddie: Won't be signed for rest of season

The Suns elected not to sign Eddie for the rest of the season after his second 10-day contract expired Saturday, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Eddie appeared in five games for the Suns when the team was down to as few as eight available players, averaging 4.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per contest. However, he didn't appear at all during any of the team's five games over the course of his second 10-day deal, and the Suns determined his roster spot was better used elsewhere. Elijah Millsap was signed to a multi-year contract Sunday to replace Eddie, who becomes an unrestricted free agent.

  • Suns' Jarell Eddie: Signs second 10-day deal

Eddie signed a second 10-day contract with the Suns on Wednesday, Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic reports.

Eddie has appeared in five games for the tanking Suns since initially signing with the team, and he holds averages of 4.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game. Eddie played a season-high 18 minutes in Tuesday's loss to Atlanta -- Phoenix was without Devin Booker, Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe -- finishing with seven points and two rebounds while going just 2-of-9 from the floor, including 2-of-8 from three.

  • Suns' Jarell Eddie: Inks 10-day contract with Phoenix

Eddie signed a 10-day contract Sunday with the Suns.

Eddie saw action in 26 games for the Wizards last season, but was let go in training camp and has since spent the entire 2016-17 campaign in the D-League. In 45 games with the Windy City Bulls this season, Eddie averaged 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 28.3 minutes per game. The 6-foot-7 swingman should provide depth on the wing, and could be in store for a regular role off the bench right away with the Suns expected to be without several key backcourt players for Sunday's game against the Pistons.

  • Suns' Jarell Eddie: Scores 13 points in team debut

Eddie posted 13 points (3-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and two rebounds across 29 minutes in Sunday's 112-95 loss to the Pistons.

After signing a 10-day contract with the team earlier in the day, Eddie was immediately thrust into action with the Suns using only eight players. With Eric Bledsoe (knee) and Brandon Knight (back) shut down for the season and Ronnie Price (leg), Devin Booker (ankle) and Leandro Barbosa (illness) day-to-day, the 6-foot-7 wing could see ample run off the bench during the course of his 10-day deal. He might be worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues.

  • Jarell Eddie: Let go by Washington

Eddie was waived Friday by the Wizards, Shams Charnia of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Eddie's decision in July to push back the guaranteed date on his contract for the 2016-17 season may have ended up costing him his roster spot, as the team ended up letting the shooting guard go Friday without any financial ramifications after he was outplayed by undrafted rookies Sheldon McClellan and Danuel House in training camp. If no other team scoops Eddie off of waivers prior to the season, he'll likely try his luck in the D-League in an attempt to earn a call-up back to the NBA.

  • Wizards' Jarell Eddie: Pushes back guarantee date on contract

Eddie agreed to push the guaranteed date for his 2016-17 contract back to the start of the regular season, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Back in December, Eddie signed a two-year contract with the Wizards that covered him for the remainder of last season, but his $980,000 deal for 2016-17 was never fully guaranteed. Eddie's deal for 2016-17 was supposed to become guaranteed last week, but in an effort to afford the team some more roster flexibility as well as to avoid getting waived, he agreed to adjust the guarantee deadline. The Wizards signed undrafted free agent wings Danuel House and Sheldon McClellan this offseason, and those two will presumably battle Eddie in training camp for one of the last spots on the roster.

  • Wizards' Jarell Eddie: Plays 5.7 minutes per game in rookie season

Eddie had a quiet rookie season while appearing in only 26 games and averaging 5.7 minutes per contest.

Eddie signed with Washington in December and saw very limited action for most of the season. With the Wizards already eliminated from the playoffs, he saw 21 minutes of action in each of their final two games. Eddie scored seven points in both contests but shot a meager 5-18 from the floor over that stretch. The former Virginia Tech standout will be a free agent this summer, but could certainly end up in the D-League.

  • Wizards' Jarell Eddie: Grabs career-high five rebounds on Wednesday

Eddie had seven points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 21 minutes during the Wizards' 109-98 win against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Eddie scored seven points in 21 minutes during consecutive contests to end the season. However, he did not receive much opportunity to contribute as a rookie, and the soon-to-be restricted free agent will need to improve quite a bit if he hopes to be part of a regular NBA rotation next year.

  • Wizards' Jarell Eddie: Has only played in 14 games this season

Eddie has averaged 3.0 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.1 assists, 0.1 steals, and 0.1 blocks in six minutes per game through 14 games this season with the Wizards.

Eddie signed with the Wizards back on Dec. 22 after spending training camp with the team this past fall. He saw the most action early on, playing over 12 minutes per game in three of his first six games with the team. Since then, he's seen a steep drop off in action, playing only three minutes total in February.

  • Wizards' Jarell Eddie: Role on the decline

Eddie played two minutes in Monday's 114-100 win over the Bulls, but didn't accrue any statistics.

Since scoring 12 points in his NBA debut on Dec. 26, Eddie has combined for just 16 points in the Wizards' last eight contests, while only playing in five of them. The team has gotten healthier on the wing since Eddie was first added to the roster and could have Bradley Beal (leg) back by the weekend, which would only further limit Eddie's role the rest of the way.
