  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Undergoes knee procedure

Williams underwent a successful arthroscopic debridement procedure on his right knee Tuesday, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports. The timing is unfortunate for Williams with training camp right around the corner. Williams is scheduled to be re-evaluated at the end of the preseason, but the Thunder didn't provide an estimated return timetable. In 69 regular-season appearances for the Thunder in 2023-24, Williams averaged 4.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Back in rotation Saturday

Williams provided two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound across three minutes during Saturday's 117-116 loss to the Mavericks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Williams played for just the second time in the past five games, logging four minutes as Luguentz Dort was benched due to foul trouble. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Williams is nothing more than a depth piece for a Thunder team with high aspirations heading into next season. There is no reason to think he will play a significant role moving forward.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Sees more minutes in second half

Williams logged 18 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block across 26 minutes during Friday's 126-112 loss to Indiana. Williams was on the floor to start the second half Friday after Gordon Hayward left the game with left lower leg soreness. Williams took advantage of the opportunity, reaching double-digit scoring for the first time since March 22 against the Raptors. Hayward moved into the starting lineup for Friday's game, and if he's ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Williams could shift into the starting lineup for the second time this season.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Snatches four steals vs. Raptors

Williams logged 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and four steals over 23 minutes during Friday's 123-103 victory over Toronto. His four steals Friday was a season high for Williams. He saw extended playing time with Oklahoma City up as much as 22 points, and his 23 minutes on the court were his most since Feb. 4, which was also against the Raptors. He would be the next man up off the bench for the Thunder should Gordon Hayward, Cason Wallace or starter Jalen Williams be sidelined.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Productive off bench

Williams produced five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in 17 minutes during Sunday's 124-93 victory over the Grizzlies. Jalen Williams left this game early with an ankle injury, and the lopsided score allowed the Thunder to utilize their second unit much more. While Cason Wallace will be the popular pickup if Williams misses time, Kenrich is one to watch in deeper leagues for his ability to contribute across the board.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Fails to score in 13 minutes

Williams finished with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 13 minutes during Tuesday's 124-117 loss to the Jazz. Williams missed all four shot attempts in the loss, failing to score for the second time in the past four games. Despite playing a somewhat consistent role off the bench, Williams is barely inside the top 300 for the season. He is well and truly off the standard league radar.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Back to bench

Williams will return to a reserve role in Friday's game versus the Hornets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. Williams replaced Jalen Williams (ankle) in the Thunder's starting lineup for the team's last game. With the latter remaining out, Cason Wallace will get the start this time.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Making first start of season

Williams will join the first five for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. Williams will step into the spot of Jalen Williams (ankle), who's set to miss multiple games. While the former draws the starting nod, he shouldn't command much fantasy attention outside of daily fantasy formats considering he's scored in double digits only twice in 36 appearances.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Top producer off bench in loss

Williams provided eight points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in 17 minutes during Monday's 107-101 loss to the Timberwolves. Williams led all Thunder players in scoring while connecting on a pair of threes and ending two points short of the double-digit mark in a losing effort. Williams has tallied eight or more points in eight games this season, including in two of his last three outings.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Plays 17 minutes in win

Williams ended with two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 17 minutes during Monday's 136-128 win over the Wizards. Williams has played double-digit minutes in 12 straight appearances. However, during that stretch, he's averaging just 3.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 15.9 minutes per game.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Scores 13 off bench

Williams totaled 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 116-102 victory over Chicago. Williams was held below 10 points in his first four appearances of the season, but he had an efficient showing from the floor during Wednesday's victory. He's had relatively limited production off the bench this year, averaging 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 17.2 minutes per game.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Drops nine points in return

Williams provided nine points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and two assists across 15 minutes during Tuesday's 123-87 win over the Spurs. Williams played his first game of the season Tuesday, logging 15 minutes off the bench. It's hard to know what his role would have looked like had the game been even remotely close. Despite his somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Williams is now surrounded by talent, meaning his role on a nightly basis is going to be muted, to say the least. Outside of some occasional streaming appeal, he can be safely left on waivers.

  • Thunder's Kenrich Williams: Slated to make season debut

Williams (back) isn't listed on the Thunder's injury report for Tuesday's matchup against the Spurs. Williams has yet to play this season due to back spasms. However, it appears he could make his season debut Tuesday. The forward averaged 22.8 minutes per game across 53 appearances (10 starts) last season, but he may see a decreased role this year now that Chet Holmgren is healthy and making an impact.
