  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Strong showing off bench

Tyson closed Thursday's 126-124 loss to the Knicks with 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one steal over 20 minutes. Even though Evan Mobley and Sam Merrill are healthy again, Tyson doesn't seem like he's going to go away quietly. A 20-minute workload isn't ideal by any means for his fantasy managers, but it may be enough for him to stay afloat.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Coming off bench Tuesday

Tyson is not in the Cavaliers' starting lineup against the Pelicans on Tuesday, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports. Tyson has started each of the Cavaliers' last three games, but he'll come off the bench Tuesday while Sam Merrill enters the starting five. In nine games (eight starts) since Dec. 1, Tyson has averaged 15.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 threes over 30.6 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Goes scoreless in 20 minutes

Tyson ended Monday's 139-132 victory over Charlotte with zero points (0-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and three steals over 20 minutes. Tyson had his worst performance of the season, failing to score for the first time. While it has been somewhat of a breakout campaign for Tyson to this point, his last two games are cause for concern, averaging 4.5 points and 2.0 steals in 23.0 minutes per game. He remains a must-roster player, although managers will want to keep a close eye on things in Cleveland, especially as health becomes less of an issue.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Drops 21 points in start

Tyson notched 21 points (8-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 127-111 loss to the Bulls. Tyson moved back into the starting lineup at the expense of De'Andre Hunter, a move that yielded immediate results. While fantasy managers had been calling for this move for some time, it is now officially time to ensure Tyson is rostered in all formats. In 12 games over the past month, Tyson has flirted with top-50 value in standard leagues, averaging 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers in 30.7 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Back in starting lineup

Tyson is in the Cavaliers' starting lineup against the Bulls on Wednesday. Tyson came off the bench against the Hornets on Sunday, but he's been inserted back in the starting lineup for Thursday's game while De'Andre Hunter reverts to a reserve role. As a starter this season, Tyson is averaging 14.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.4 threes, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks over 29.1 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Double-double from second unit

Tyson closed Sunday's 119-111 overtime loss to the Hornets with 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 35 minutes off the bench. The second-year forward moved back to the second unit for the first time since Nov. 28, but Tyson still saw a starter's workload and delivered his third double-double of the season, all three of which have come in December. Through six games this month, the 20th overall pick in the 2024 Draft is averaging 17.5 points, 9.0 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.8 threes, and Tyson's role isn't going to shrink as long as Evan Mobley (calf) remains sidelined.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Headed to bench

Tyson will come off the bench Sunday against the Hornets, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports. Dean Wade is replacing Tyson in the first unit for Sunday's game, which lessens Tyson's appeal as a target in daily fantasy leagues. As a member of the second unit this season, Tyson owns averages of 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 triples and 1.4 steals per game in 23.7 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Double-doubles in defeat

Tyson recorded 11 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 loss to the Warriors. Tyson got the starting nod for a fifth consecutive contest with several of Cleveland's key contributors remaining on the shelf. While the second-year swingman struggled from beyond the arc, he still scored in double figures for a fifth straight game. Additionally, he grabbed 11 boards, securing his second double-double on the campaign, both of which have come in his last four outings. He has also been efficient from the field of late, shooting 56.7 percent from the floor over his last five games.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Goes for 24 points in win

Tyson amassed 24 points (11-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Friday's 130-117 victory over the Spurs. Tyson continues to play out of his skin, scoring at least 24 points for the second time in the past three games. As long as the Cavaliers are dealing with at least one injury, it appears as though Tyson will be the beneficiary, much like Ty Jerome last season. In seven games over the past two weeks, Tyson has been a top-60 player, averaging 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. He is worth rostering in all formats, at least until the roster is healthy.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Efficient double-double Monday

Tyson tallied 27 points (10-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during the Cavaliers' 135-119 win over the Pacers on Monday. Tyson was the leading rebounder during Monday's game and finished as the Cavaliers' second-leading scorer, as he served as the perfect complement to Donovan Mitchell (43 points). Tyson's performance also marked his first double-double of his young career, and he could remain in Cleveland's starting lineup Wednesday against the Trail Blazers if one or both of Jarrett Allen (finger) and Darius Garland (rest) are not cleared to play. As a starter, Tyson is averaging 14.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.8 threes, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks over 27.9 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Full stat line in start

Tyson posted 17 points (6-18 FG, 5-12 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 34 minutes during Sunday's 117-115 loss to the Celtics. Tyson made his 11th start of the season, stuffing the stat sheet while tying a season high in triples. The 2024 first-rounder has been a revelation thus far in 2025-26, and he's been particularly valuable in nine-category formats for his efficiency and low turnover rate. Across his 11 starts, Tyson has averaged 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.6 three-pointers per game while shooting 54.8 percent from the field.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Starting Sunday

Tyson will start Sunday's game against the Celtics, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports. Tyson will enter the starting lineup due to Jarrett Allen (finger) being out of the lineup. Over his last three starts, Tyson holds averages of 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 28.0 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Heading back to bench

Tyson is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Hawks. The Cavaliers will return several regulars to the first unit, so Tyson will return to his regular bench role. Tyson is averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game when deployed off the bench this season.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Upgraded to available

Tyson (concussion) is available for Friday's game against the Pacers, Tony East of Forbes.com reports. Tyson was expected to be upgraded to available based on Kenny Atkinson's words earlier Friday, and the wing will make his first appearance since Nov. 12. He's going to have a minutes restriction and is likely to be held to under 30 minutes, a scenario that limits his fantasy upside.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Expected to suit up Friday

Tyson (concussion) is expected to play Friday against the Pacers, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports. If available, Tyson's minutes will be monitored in his first game back from a five-game absence Friday night, so he's not a great target in daily fantasy leagues. Tyson's return might result in fewer minutes for Nae'Qwan Tomlin.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Out again for Wednesday

Tyson (concussion) will miss Wednesday's game against the Rockets. Tyson will be sidelined for a fifth straight game and continues to be ruled out a day in advance of games. For now, fantasy managers can consider him questionable at best for Friday's matchup against the Pacers.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Won't play Saturday

Tyson (concussion) will not suit up for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies. Saturday will mark Tyson's third straight game on the sidelines, and for now, he should be considered questionable at best for Monday's matchup with Milwaukee. With Tyson unavailable Saturday, expect more minutes for Dean Wade and Nae'Qwan Tomlin.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Out again Thursday

Tyson (concussion) will not play Thursday against Toronto. Tyson will now miss consecutive games due to a concussion, and it is unclear exactly when he will return. While he is sidelined, expect Sam Merrill and Dean Wade to see extended playing time as a result.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Out with concussion

Tyson (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Miami. Tyson could have been a strong streaming option Wednesday, but he'll instead join a lengthy list of absences for Cleveland. The forward will be hoping to clear the concussion protocol ahead of Thursday's tilt against Toronto. With Tyson unavailable, the Cavaliers are positioned to lean on De'Andre Hunter and Dean Wade at the forward spots.

  • Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Scores nine points with nine boards

Tyson notched nine points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block over 31 minutes during Monday's 140-138 overtime loss to the Heat. Darius Garland exited Monday's game after aggravating his surgically repaired toe, so he could be looking at another long-term absence. Tyson entered the game after Garland went down and was in the closing lineup through the overtime period, so he could find himself starting again Wednesday if Garland can't give it a go. Through seven starts this season, Tyson has registered averages of 13.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.7 triples, 1.4 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.3 turnovers per contest.
