Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant scored for the first time in four games during a 31-24 win Week 13 vs. Oakland. Bryant finished with seven catches for 61 yards -- both team highs.
Bryant was held off the stat sheet before hauling in a 5-yard catch with just under one minute left in the second quarter. Bryant fumbled the football, but it was recovered by a teammate. A few plays later, Bryant would have his second catch of the game -- a 25-yard reception down to the Raiders' 4-yard line.
Bryant finally broke his scoring drought with a 4-yard touchdown catch on his first reception of the second half. The catch came with 5:26 left in the third quarter.
Bryant came close to to his fourth multi-touchdown game of the season late in the fourth quarter. However, Bryant was tackled at the Raiders' 3-yard line after a 4-yard gain. Bryant, who was in one-on-one coverage, had just one defender to beat, but he couldn't shake cornerback Phillip Adams.
The fourth-year receiver finished with a team-high nine targets. The Cowboys are back in action Week 14 at Chicago.
