Bill O'Brien has made official what was expected - he has announced that Ryan Fitzpatrick is back as the starting quarterback for the Texans. Fitzpatrick replaces the injured Ryan Mallett.
The veteran started the first nine games of the season before losing his job. He completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,980 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
