  • Cardinals' Bryce Williams: Signs with Arizona

Williams signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Kyle Odegard of the team's official site reports.

The Cardinals needed more depth at tight end after letting Troy Niklas walk in free agency. Williams, who's now with his fifth organization in three years as a professional, will have a chance to claim the No. 3 role behind Jermaine Gresham (Achilles) and Ricky Seals-Jones. It helps that he's familiar with Arizona's new head coach, Steve Wilks, who was Carolina's defensive coordinator when Williams spent training camp with the Panthers last summer.

  • Bryce Williams: Waived by Panthers

Williams was waived by the Panthers on Friday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Williams failed to make it as a depth option at tight end. If he clears waivers, Williams will be eligible to sign with another team.

  • Panthers' Bryce Williams: Signs with Carolina

Williams signed a contract with the Panthers on Thursday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Williams bounced around as an undrafted free agent last season and will now look to catch on with Carolina. He'll be competing against Eric Wallace, Scott Simonson, and Chris Manhertz for a depth tight end role.

  • Bryce Williams: Released by Seattle

Williams was released by the Seahawks on Thursday.

Williams has spent time with the Patriots, Rams and Seahawks since going undrafted in 2016. He's yet to appear in a regular-season game but could catch on as a depth player or practice squad member of another club in 2017.

  • Seahawks' Bryce Williams: Signs with Seahawks

Williams signed a deal with the Seahawks on Friday.

The tight end went undrafted last season before signing with New England, being waived, and then signing with the Rams' practice squad. He has not yet appeared in a regular-season game, but Williams will have an opportunity to impress the Seahawks during their rookie minicamp this weekend as a member of the team's 90-man roster.

  • Bryce Williams: Out of LA

Williams was released by the Rams on Thursday, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Williams signed with the Rams in January, but he found himself the odd man out after the team drafted tight end Gerald Everett with the No. 44 pick in last weekend's draft. The East Carolina product will now look to find his way onto another roster in time for training camp.

  • Patriots' Bryce Williams: Missing practice

Williams has missed several days of practice with an undisclosed injury.

Clearly behind Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett on the Patriots' tight end depth chart, Williams is competing for depth slotting at the position along with Clay Harbor, A.J. Derby, Steven Scheu and Bear Pascoe.

  • Patriots' Bryce Williams: Making plays in training camp

Williams is coming off a good weekend in training camp, cbslocal.com reports.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound undrafted rookie out of East Carolina is obviously behind Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett in the fantasy pecking order, but he's been making plays in training camp and could make a long-shot bid to secure a roster spot if that trend continues. He'll be jostling for slotting on that front with Clay Harbor, A.J. Derby, Steven Scheu and Bear Pascoe.
