Carl Tucker: Let go by Dolphins
Tucker was cut from the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Tucker began the year on Miami's practice squad after he signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May, but he failed to make an impact early in the year. He made seven appearances at Alabama in 2020, but it's not yet clear whether he'll land a role with another NFL team.

Dolphins' Carl Tucker: New Miami arrival
The Dolphins signed Tucker as an undrafted free agent Thursday.
Tucker appeared in seven games with Alabama in 2020, after having joined the program as a graduate transfer. Previously, he logged 38 appearances across four years at North Carolina. The Dolphins can deploy him at either tight end or fullback during offseason practices.
