  • Seahawks' Josh Jones: Sticking with champs

The Seahawks are set to re-sign Jones to a one-year deal, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Jones signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks in 2025, which culminated in a victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX. The backup offensive tackle was an instrumental piece of the team's journey to the NFC's top seed, as he started at left tackle for the final three games of the regular season due to Charles Cross' hamstring injury. Jones' production as the next man up has earned him a chance to try to chase another Lombardi with Seattle in 2026.

The backup left tackle will be a key depth piece with starter Charles Cross returning from a foot injury, as well as No. 3 offensive tackle Amari Kight (knee) doubtful to play. If neither Jones nor Kight can suit up, Mason Richman will be the first reserve option at left tackle.

The Seahawks agreed to terms with Jones on a one-year contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Jones appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Ravens last season, seeing just 46 snaps on offense and 87 on special teams. The 27-year-old will be joining his fourth team in as many seasons and has 24 games of starting experience under his belt.
