  • Tayler Hawkins: Gets let go

Hawkins (undisclosed) was waived by the 49ers with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hawkins was set to spend the entirety of the 2024 campaign on IR due to the unknown injury, but this settlement will allow him to try and work to find an opportunity elsewhere once he is healthy. The San Diego State product missed almost all of last season due to a broken hand and only appeared in one regular-season game for San Francisco, which saw him record four tackles and an interception.

He was competing for a spot on the 53-man roster during training camp before being waived/injured Thursday.
