Player Outlook
Brown's move to Philadelphia in 2022 was extremely successful, and he should be considered a top-10 Fantasy receiver in all leagues this year. Brown is worth drafting as early as Round 2 in all formats. Last year, Brown teamed with Jalen Hurts and set career highs in targets (145), catches (88) and receiving yards (1,496), and he matched his career high in touchdowns (11). His 17.6 PPR points per game was also a career high. Brown has plenty of competition for targets with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, but Brown is still the alpha of this receiving corps. He should have another dominant campaign if healthy, and Brown should come off the board in all leagues as early as No. 15 overall.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Racks up 131 yards in Week 3

Brown caught nine of 14 targets for 131 yards in Monday's 25-11 win over Tampa Bay. After being limited to 29 receiving yards in Week 2 against the Vikings, Brown gained 28 on Philadelphia's first pass of the game. That play set the tone for Brown's fourth game over 130 receiving yards since the start of last season. He easily led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards while setting season highs in all three categories. Brown scored 11 touchdowns in 2022, but he's still looking for his first score of 2023 heading into a Week 4 home game against the Commanders.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Kept in check during Week 2 win

Brown secured four of six targets for 29 yards in the Eagles' 34-28 win over the Vikings on Thursday night. Brown tied DeVonta Smith for second in receptions but was a distant runner-up to his fellow star wideout in receiving yardage. The big-bodied wideout's uninspiring line was partly the result of Jalen Hurts' modest 23 pass attempts and D'Andre Swift's standout 175-yard tally, however, and he'll remain a candidate for his first breakout of the season in a Week 3 road contest against the Buccaneers on Monday night, Sept. 25.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Leads way in rainy conditions

Brown recorded seven receptions on 10 targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Patriots. Brown and DeVonta Smith each had exactly 10 targets and seven receptions, though Brown worked more as the big-play threat. Despite rainy conditions, he had long receptions of 23 and 15 yards, each of which was based primarily on run after the catch. Given the context and typically tough matchup, it was a solid start to the new campaign for Brown.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not playing Saturday

Brown isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason game in Baltimore, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Eagles starters aren't available for the team's exhibition opener, meaning Brown and DeVonta Smith will yield wide receiver reps to the likes of Quez Watkins, Olamide Zaccheaus and Devon Allen. Brown's next opportunity for game action is this coming Thursday versus the Browns.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Strong start to training camp

Brown has made numerous impressive plays in the Eagles' first few training camp practices, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Brown and Jalen Hurts are picking up where they left off after the star receiver produced 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first season with the Eagles. The quarterback-receiver duo worked together in the offseason to further improve their chemistry, and that work seems to have paid off.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Catches long touchdown

Brown recorded six catches on eight targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. Brown made his presence known early in the game when he made an impressive 45-yard grab for a touchdown to kick off the second quarter. He also chipped in some additional production, highlighted by a 22-yard reception just before halftime to set up a field goal. The effort capped Brown's first season in Philadelphia, during which he posted a career-best 88 receptions and 1,496 yards across 17 regular-season games.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Manages four catches in rout

Brown caught four of eight targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 31-7 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. The Eagles' passing game never had to ramp it up, as Brock Purdy (elbow) got hurt early for the Niners, and their offense struggled with journeyman Josh Johnson (concussion) under center. As a result, Brown had a second straight quiet playoff performance after reaching at least 70 yards in six straight games to close out the regular season. The hip issue that's slowed the fourth-year wideout in practice lately may have also been a factor, but Brown will have two weeks to heal up before the Super Bowl.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Clear of injury report

Brown (hip) isn't listed Wednesday on the Eagles' first injury report ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers. Brown was slow to get to his feet a few times during the later stages of this past Saturday's divisional-round win against the Giants. He touched on the subject Sunday, telling Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer that his left hip got banged up during the contest. According to McLane, Brown also said that he's "good to go" prior to Wednesday's walk-through, which was confirmed now that his name wasn't included among Philadelphia's injured players on the active roster. Brown thus is set to face a San Francisco defense that was vulnerable against wide receivers during the regular season, ranking 26th in yards per target (8.5) and tied for 26th in total touchdowns (18) allowed.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Downplays hip issue

Brown tweaked his left hip in Saturday's 38-7 win over the Giants in the divisional round, but he told the Eagles training and coaching staffs that he'll be fine moving forward, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Because the Eagles raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead, Brown was afforded some rest late in the contest and finished the victory with three catches for 22 yards on six targets while playing 51 of 69 snaps on offense (73.9 percent). The hip issue doesn't look to be anything that will affect Brown's availability for the NFC Championship Game matchup with the 49ers this coming Sunday, but Brown could have his reps managed early on during the practice week as a precaution. By the time Sunday arrives, however, Brown should be ready to handle a full workload as the Eagles aim to return to the Super Bowl for the second time in six seasons.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Quiet in divisional-round win

Brown brought in three of six targets for 22 yards in the Eagles' 38-7 divisional-round win over the Giants on Saturday night. Brown turned in a surprisingly middling showing in a game during which the Eagles offense was close to clicking on all cylinders. The Giants appeared to do a good job limiting Brown with star cornerback Adoree' Jackson, but fellow pass catchers DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert were able to take advantage. Brown will aim to atone for the quiet performance in an NFC Championship Game battle against either the Cowboys or 49ers a week from Sunday.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Leading receiver in win

Brown caught four of 10 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Giants. Even with Jalen Hurts being held back in his return from a shoulder strain, Brown still nearly recorded his sixth 100-yard game of the season. The 25-year-old wideout wraps up his first regular season in Philadelphia with 88 catches on 145 targets for 1,496 yards, all career highs, and 11 touchdowns (tying the mark he hit in 2020), and he and Hurts will now get a week to rest with the Eagles having secured the top seed in the NFC and a first-round bye.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Breaks free for long touchdown

Brown recorded four catches on nine targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Saints. The Eagles offense was held in check for much of the day, and Brown had only two catches for 15 yards until late in the third quarter. Things changed quickly, however, as he had a catch and run of 78 yards to reach the end zone and account for the longest play of the day by either team. Brown has either a touchdown or 100 receiving yards in each of his last six games.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Good to go

Brown (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints. Brown and RB Miles Sanders (knee) both resumed full practice participation Friday and avoided injury designations for Week 17, while QB Jalen Hurts (shoulder) is listed as doubtful. Brown topped 100 yard last week in Gardner Minshew's first start of the season, albeit with teammate DeVonta Smith having an even bigger game in a close, shootout loss to the Cowboys.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Stays limited at practice

Brown (rest/knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday. The Eagles have held back-to-back walkthroughs this week, for which Brown has had a cap on his reps. Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer noted that Brown was donning a compression sleeve on his left leg as he went through drills. Considering 'rest' was added next to Brown's name on Thursday's injury report, he may not be in any danger of sitting out Sunday against the Saints. Friday's report will reveal whether he has a designation ahead of that contest.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Limited by knee issue

Brown was a limited participant at Wednesday's walk-through session due to a knee injury. While top quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) and running back Miles Sanders (knee) were listed as non-participants, Brown at least was able to log some on-field reps as the team kicked off Week 17 prep. Brown has yet to miss a game this season and has seen at least 80 percent of the snaps in eight consecutive contests, so Philadelphia may be capping his workload in practice to keep him as healthy as possible ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Saints.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Another 100-yard performance

Brown hauled in six of eight targets for 103 yards during Saturday's 40-34 loss at Dallas. Since a sparse Week 10 performance against the Commanders (one seven-yard catch on four targets), Brown has notched 100 receiving yards three times over the last six outings, with that trio all coming in the past four contests. Overall, during that six-game stretch, he's accrued a 36-579-4 line on 53 targets. And the most recent outburst from Brown occurred with Gardner Minshew and not Jalen Hurts (shoulder) under center. There's also a chance Hurts misses a Week 17 matchup with the Saints on Sunday, Jan. 1, but Brown's production doesn't appear to be bothered by the Eagles' quarterback change.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Career-high 181 yards in win

Brown caught nine of 16 targets for 181 yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Bears. DeVonta Smith accounted for 104 of Jalen Hurts' 139 passing yards in the first half, while Brown turned his team-leading six targets into just two catches for 25 yards. In the third quarter, Brown got the Eagles down to the two-yard line with a 29-yard catch to set up Hurts' second rushing touchdown of the afternoon. Then, in the fourth, a 68-yard catch helped Brown overtake Smith for the team lead in receiving yards for the game. Brown had a three-game touchdown streak snapped in this one, but the star wide receiver set a new single-game career high in receiving yards thanks to his 156-yard second half, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 16 trip to Dallas.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Team-high receiving yardage Sunday

Brown secured four of six targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 48-22 win over the Giants on Sunday. Brown didn't come close to matching his stellar totals from the Week 13 win over his old Titans squad, but he still led the Eagles in receiving yards and secured his 10th touchdown of the season on a 33-yard grab just before the halfway point of the second quarter. He also eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the season with Sunday's production, and he'll carry a three-game streak with at least one scoring reception into a Week 15 road battle versus the Bears.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Crushes former team

Brown recorded eight receptions on 10 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Titans. Brown faced Tennessee for the first time since being traded during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He made his former team pay, delivering touchdowns of 40 and 29 yards to account for the majority of his production. While this marked only his third game of the season surpassing 100 receiving yards, Brown continues to find the end zone at a tremendous clip. He now has nine touchdowns for the season, six of which have come in his last six games.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Mixed results in Week 12

Brown caught four of six targets for 46 yards and a touchdown Sunday, but he also lost a fumble in a 40-33 win over Green Bay. Brown converted a short catch for a score -- his seventh of the campaign -- to help offset an early turnover in an eventual shootout victory. Overall, it was a step in the right direction after the star wideout produced just 67 yards and no scores over his last two contests. Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders did the heavy lifting against the Packers' porous rush defense (300 combined rushing yards), but Brown and the passing attack may need to flip that script against the Titans' far-superior defensive front Sunday.
