Chargers' Tre'Von Johnson: Returns to IR
Johnson (undisclosed) cleared waivers Saturday and reverted to the Chargers' injured reserve list, per the NFL communication's official transaction log.
Johnson will remain on the Chargers' injured reserve for the remainder of the 2019 season unless he and the team come to terms on an injury settlement. In any case, Johnson won't count against Los Angeles' roster limit.

Tre'Von Johnson: Waived by Los Angeles
Johnson was waived by the Chargers on Thursday, Ricky Henne of the team's official site reports.
Johnson was waived to make room for Kyle Wilson on the 53-man roster. After being promoted to the active roster in mid-November, Johnson played four games with the Chargers and racked up three tackles. He'll now be subjected to league waivers, and be free to search for a depth role elsewhere if he goes unclaimed.

Chargers' Tre'Von Johnson: Joins active roster
The Chargers promoted Johnson to the active roster Tuesday, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson takes the roster spot vacated by Denzel Perryman (knee), who was placed on injured reserve. Johnson spent a short amount of time with the Cowboys in 2017, and is now slated to provide depth at the linebacker position for the Chargers.
