    The Lions waived Alexander on Tuesday. Alexander initially signed with Detroit in August of 2022. He got into six games during his first year with the team and played mostly on special teams, then remained on the practice squad all of last season. The wideout had a strong preseason this year, catching seven of 10 targets for 106 yards, so he could land back on the Lions' practice squad if he clears waivers.
