Levrone was let go by the Panthers on Friday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Levrone flashed at times in the preseason but wasn't able to carve out a depth role in Carolina's crowded receiving corps. The second-year pro out of Virginia is a candidate for the practice squad.

Panthers' Andre Levrone: Nice showing Thursday
Levrone caught four of seven targets for 51 yards in Thursday night's 23-13 preseason win over the Bears.
Levrone led the Panthers in both receptions and yards through the air, making a good impression in his first exhibition action. His total also included a team-long grab of 21 yards. As he strives to earn a roster spot, the rookie will aim to make a similarly strong impact next week versus the Bills.

Panthers' Andre Levrone: Joins Panthers
Levrone signed a reserve/future contract with the Panthers on Monday.
Levrone signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May but did not make his NFL debut in 2018. At 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, the 23-year-old has an NFL frame but finished his college career at Virginia as a relatively unpolished product.
