McGhee had his suspension lifted by the NFL on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
McGhee received a five-game ban in the spring for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, but he's now free to take the field. The 2020 UDFA out of Georgia spent last season on the Rams' practice squad and has yet to make his NFL debut.

The Rams waived McGhee (suspension) on Monday, per the NFL's official media site.
McGhee spent his rookie season on the Rams' practice squad and never featured in a game. During that time, McGhee received a two-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Earlier in April, he received a five-game suspension for violating the same policy.

McGhee has been suspended without pay for the first five games of the 2021 regular season for violating the NFL Policy on performance-enhancing substance, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
McGhee faced his first suspension for violating the NFL Policy on performance-enhancing substances during November of the 2020 season. After serving his two-week punishment, the cornerback was still unable to suit up for a game. The undrafted rookie out of Georgia will aim to make his NFL debut this year.

McGhee was hit with a two-week suspension at the end of November for violating the NFL's policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances, and after serving the time, he'll be eligible for game action. The cornerback has yet to sniff any NFL action, and he currently resides on the Rams' practice squad.
