Sam Renner: Let go by Tampa Bay
Renner (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Buccaneers on Thursday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Renner was let go because the Buccaneers needed to re-sign guard Earl Watford and had to make space for him on the roster. It's unknown what injury the 24-year-old defensive tackle has, but it will be tough for him to latch onto a roster spot until his injury is resolved.
