    The Falcons signed Gaziano on Monday. Gaziano is now set to join Atlanta in 2023 following his three-season stint with the Chargers. The 280-pounder was limited to just five games played last season due to undisclosed injuries, but from Week 11-15, he operated as a rotational defensive lineman and amassed eight tackles and one sack in that span.

  • Chargers' Joe Gaziano: Placed on COVID-19 list

    Gaziano (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Gaziano tested positive for COVID, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. He's appeared in 13 games for the Chargers this season in a rotational role on their defensive line. Gaziano could still compete Sunday against the Texans if he is able to produce two negative tests at least 24 hours apart.
