McCoy posted two solo tackles -- including one sack -- and three total quarterback hits in Sunday's 38-33 loss to the Cardinals.
McCoy has logged a sack in each of his past two contests after failing to get to the quarterback in each of his first three games. The eight-year veteran continues to be solid IDP option primarily due to his sack upside, and he also boasts serviceable tackle numbers for an interior defender.
McCoy tallied four tackles (three solo), one sack and one pass defensed in Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Patriots.
The All-Pro tackle notched his first quarterback takedown of 2017 and posted four tackles for the third consecutive game. McCoy's five tackles for loss through the first four games corroborate that he's been a disruptive force at times, and given the relative ease with which he penetrated blockers this season, he could well see his sack numbers start to pile up in coming weeks as well.
McCoy (ankle) posted four tackles (all solo) -- including three for loss -- and logged a quarterback hit in Sunday's 25-23 win over the Giants.
The Pro Bowl defensive tackle gutted out a sore ankle that has been plaguing him for the last two weeks-plus, playing on 67 of a possible 80 snaps and serving as the disruptive force he has a well-earned reputation for being. McCoy has yet to log a sack through three games but already has five tackles behind the line of scrimmage, so penetration hasn't been a problem. He'll set his sights on the fairly stationary target that is Tom Brady when the Bucs tangle with the Patriots in a Thursday night Week 5 matchup.
McCoy (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Giants.
McCoy practiced fully Friday and battled through the injury against the Vikings last week as well, so this isn't a major surprise. The veteran defensive tackle could potentially cede some snaps to Sealver Siliga and Clinton McDonald, depending on how much the ankle bothers him.
McCoy (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jenna Laine of ESPN reports.
McCoy played through his ankle injury last week against the Vikings and, after logging a full practice Friday, we think he'll do the same this weekend. If not, Sealver Siliga and Clinton McDonald could be in store for added reps.
