    Burton (hamstring) was placed on Dallas' practice squad injured list Monday. After failing to make the initial 53-man roster, Burton was signed to Dallas' practice squad. He has since picked up a hamstring issue and will be forced to miss some time. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it certainly impacts his chances of a promotion to the active roster anytime soon.

    Burton was waived by the Packers on Wednesday, according to the team's official site. Burton was cut in order to make room for running back Aaron Jones, who was activated from exempt status. Burton was claimed off waivers from the Falcons on Sept. 11 and was inactive for Green Bay's Week 2 game against the Vikings.
