Sharks' Petter Emanuelsson: Returns to native Sweden
Emanuelsson signed a two-year contract with Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey League on Wednesday.
Emanuelsson spent the past two seasons in the Sharks' minor-league system. His development was temporarily thrown off track in 2014-15, when he underwent double shoulder surgery. The 24-year-old winger was among the first cuts in training camp ahead of this season, though he did manage 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists) in 58 games with AHL San Jose.

Emanuelsson Among Sharks Roster Cuts
Emanuelsson was among the first players the Sharks cut from camp, the team announced on Monday.The 24-year-old Emanuelsson played just six games last season, his first in North America, before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. He's on a new one-year contract and has to prove he belongs in the organization this year or face a summer where it'll be tough to get a contract with any NHL club.
