Northeastern rolls as Georgia Southern remains winless
Jared Turner led five Northeastern Huskies players in double figures with a career-high 22 points as the Huskies kept Georgia Southern Eagles winless with a 93-76 victory Tuesday at the TowneBank Holiday Classic in Greenville, N.C.
Chris Doherty added 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Northeastern, which shot 54.2 percent (13 of 24) from 3-point range and improved to 3-3 on the young season.
Derrick Harris Jr. led the way with 15 points for the Eagles, who fell to 0-6.
