Cubs' Kervin Castro: Recalled by Chicago

Castro was recalled from Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Castro was sent down Tuesday but will rejoin the Cubs' bullpen a day later as part of a move after Steven Brault (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list Wednesday. Over six relief appearances with the Cubs this year, Castro has posted an 8.22 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 7.2 innings.
