Cubs' Steven Brault: Contract selected

Brault's contract was selected from Triple-A Iowa on Saturday, Tim Stebbins of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Brault returned to the mound in Iowa on July 6 after missing over three months due to a left triceps strain. He's tossed 3.2 scoreless innings over three relief appearances with the Triple-A club and should serve as a middle reliever for the Cubs ahead of the All-Star break.
