Diamondbacks' Paul Fry: Sent down Friday

Fry was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Friday.

Fry made a relief appearance against Atlanta after being recalled Wednesday, and he allowed a run on two hits and two walks while striking out two in one inning. He'll be cast off the active roster ahead of the team's weekend series in Pittsburgh, but he'll remain on the taxi squad.
