Fry was released by the Diamondbacks on Friday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
The 30-year-old was designated for assignment by Arizona in August and will head into the offseason as a free agent. Fry appeared in only 13 major-league games this year and posted a 6.23 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB in 13 innings.
